Can’t remember whether you’ve booked to go on a club trip or to a club event? Go to the members’ area and click on the link Event Booking List. You’ll find a list of the the current planned lists there which you can access.
We have received the following communication from Jane Ball regarding the refurbishment of the toilets at the community centre.
“Dear Probus ‘91
At long last we have a contractor to refurbish the toilets. They will be completely gutted and all new when finished to include a separate disabled facility.
Work will begin on 19th February 2024 and is expected to take 8-10 weeks.
There will be a temporary block of toilets in the car park, unfortunately this will not include a disabled toilet as there will be a step up into them.
This may interfere with some user groups especially those that meet in the day. We hope to offer the Walker Room or lounge for those groups to meet.
Access for user groups will be through the kitchen and we will issue keys to those groups that need them. The corridor will remain ‘Out of Bounds’ for the duration of the rebuild.
I know we will all benefit from this work when completed so please bear with us during these few weeks.
